This new course is for students to advance their knowledge of education,
exploring broad educational and teaching issues. Students gain an
understanding of the nature and significance of educational issues and will
examine the ways in which research in education might explain these issues.
The degree has been designed for educational professionals, specifically
those in teaching, management or administration roles across all levels of
education.

It provides the opportunity to specialise with a specific pathway including:
MA Special and Inclusive Education;
MA Educational Leadership and Management
MA Teaching and Learning;
MA Teaching and Learning in Higher Education;
MA Early Years Education;
MSc Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education.

Students can also choose from all modules to gain a MA Education (generic award).

Entry requirements
Students must have an interest in education and can come straight from their first degree. No teaching experience is necessary.

＊Level two Numeracy and Literacy or equivalent
＊Appropriate experience and/or an interest in education
＊International students require IELTS 6.5 (R 6.0, W 6.0, L 6.0 and S 6.0)
＊The MSc STEM Education pathway requires a PGCE in science teaching assessed at M-level.
